Personal Information

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information. When you register for an Account, we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.

Platform Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you use the platform, including:

  • Individual account settings — notes, project folders, lists of saved investors

  • Platform activity — hidden and viewed cards, filter settings, display preferences

  • Personal preferences — selected categories, saved searches and other settings

This data is used exclusively for the convenience of managing your account, personalizing your experience, and analyzing data to improve your account personalization.

Third-Party Service Integrations
When you connect third-party services to your Veck account, we may collect additional information to provide integration functionality:

  • Access tokens and authorization data (encrypted) — to authenticate with third-party services

  • Account and workspace identifiers — to identify connected services

  • Integration settings — your preferences for using connected services

  • Data you explicitly send — only the information you consciously transmit through the integration

Examples of third-party services may include, but are not limited to: Notion, Attio, Airtable, HubSpot and other tools for work organization and project management.

Important: We only access information in third-party services that you explicitly transmit through Veck. We do not read, modify, or access any other content in your connected services without your explicit action.

Protection of Sensitive Data
Personal account settings, individual preferences, platform usage data, third-party service integration tokens and other sensitive data are not used for commercial purposes and are not shared with third parties. This information is processed exclusively for personalizing your account and providing you with personalized services.

Security measures:

  • All third-party service access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption

  • Data transmission uses secure HTTPS/SSL connections

  • Tokens are never logged or exposed in error messages

  • Access tokens are automatically deleted when you disconnect an integration

How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our platform and connected integrations

  • Improve, personalize, and expand functionality

  • Understand and analyze platform usage to improve your account personalization

  • Develop new products, services, and features

  • Communicate with you for customer service, updates and marketing purposes

  • Send you email notifications

  • Detect and prevent fraud

  • Connect with third-party services you authorize

Third-Party Services
When using integrations, your data may be transmitted to third-party services you explicitly connect (such as Notion, Attio, Airtable, HubSpot). Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We use standard authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0) for secure connections and only transmit data you explicitly choose to share.

You can disconnect any integration at any time from your account settings.

Data Retention and Deletion
General data: Account information is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion.

Integration data: Third-party service access tokens are stored only while the integration is active. When you disconnect an integration, all associated tokens are immediately deleted from our systems.

Your Rights
You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate data

  • Request deletion of your data

  • Disconnect third-party integrations at any time

  • Revoke third-party access directly through their settings

  • Export your data
